OVERVIEW
This workshop deals with the phenomenon of change as a constant in the organization. Participants are taken through core precepts that typify organizational change, and proven methodologies for navigating through every change event successfully. The workshop is offered in 5 modules and, on completion, participants develop skills for leading change in their respective teams and organizations; and acquire abilities that strengthen personal resiliency and adaptability in today’s business/workplace of disruption and ever changing paradigms.
MODULE 1. INNOVATE OR STAGNATE – THE CUTTING EDGE OF CHANGE
We examine how creativity can be enhanced and focused toward innovation. The program helps you understand creativity, and how to use it to generate innovative solutions to problems faced by the organization. You will learn how to ride the waves of change, rather than be overwhelmed by them. The objective is to empower staff to see change as an opportunity for innovation rather than a threat to be avoided.

MODULE 2: MANAGING CHANGE IN THE WORKPLACE
This module discusses the types and stages of change which occur in organizations and with individuals. Participants will learn how to identify each stage and strategies to apply in order to maneuver through the change process.

- Identify and understand the types and characteristics of organizational change to operate more productively in a changing work environment
- Identify and act upon opportunities for constructive change
- Identify strategies to help facilitate someone else’s change
- Identify and begin to manifest the characteristics of a change agent

- Understanding the four stages of change
- Positive actions to navigate through change
- Change hardiness self-assessment
- Mastering change exercise and case study
- Completion of key learnings action plan
MODULE 3: KEEPING PACE ON A SPINNING PLANET
Change doesn’t have to lead to that common sensation of being overwhelmed. We can ride the waves of change. People who are moving ahead in our world today are those who know how to navigate the turbulent waters of change. This module unlocks the toolbox for managing change and provides insight and skills that enhance our ability to keep pace.

MODULE 4: ILLUMINATING THE PATHWAY THROUGH CHANGE
Change occurs often rapidly. How do we continuously adapt to these changing times? What is the process for transitioning from the way things were to the way they are today? This insightful session illuminates the murky pathway through change, providing you with the understanding and tools you need for navigating the unchartered territories of transition.

- Gain insight into the process of transition
- Explore two models or “roadmaps” which can guide you through the transition process
- Learn tools for successfully navigating the transitional journey
MODULE 5: LEAP AND THE NET WILL APPEAR – BALANCING RISK AND FEAR
Ever had something you desired, something you wanted to go for in life and YOU talked YOU out of it? This module shines the light on our risk-taking fears and provides us with the insight and tools we need to encourage the risk-taker in all of us.
Objectives/Topics
As a result of taking this course, you will learn to:
- Identify the fears that stop you cold and explore where they originate
- Develop the tools and practice the skills for connecting with your risk-taking side
- Understand the risk/reward connection
